It seems no matter what I do I end up taking breaks from blogging here unexpectedly. I had every intention of posting a book review this week, but life got in the way. You see, my Papa passed away this past weekend. It was not unexpected, and I was able to see him one more time at Christmas, but it's still difficult. Papa was one of the men I respected most in my life, and it's hard to have to let go. Even harder still is it for my grandmother and aunts. So I will be absent while I visit my family. I've got a planned post or two for now or when I get back, but simply put family is far more important than blogging. (Of course, I know you all understand.) Have a lovely weekend, and go give your loved ones a hug.19 January 2012

So sorry for your and your family's loss. I hope you get to spend lots of time with the rest of your family in the days to come.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly! I'm able to spend some time with them for the memorial, thank goodness. I'm mostly concerned about my grandmother at this point.
Deleteso sorry!! Make sure you keep calling or visiting your grandmother...she will love it!! My grandmother passed first and I think people forgot about my grandad..
